Kilts-On-Skis
We aim to beat the Guinness Book world record in skiing downhill in kilts this coming winter at Wisp Ski Resort in Western Maryland, the ”we” being the Deep Creek Lake Lions Club. We need your help. It’s for a great cause, helping people with limited or no vision.
On Saturday 11 March, 2010, 235 skiers set a new world record at CairnGorm Mountain ski resort in Scotland by skiing or snowboarding down the mountain in single file in kilts. Proceeds of the event went to charities. They were hoping for 600, but 262 signed up and 235 made it officially from start to finish.

It will most likely be held some time in February of 2011. Everyone is welcome, young and old, male and female, skiers and snowboarders.
